To whom this may concern,
My name is Dan Thompson and I currently work at Exeter Racecourse in England. I am the Racing Sales Manager and so I look after all the hospitality, sponsorship and advertising at the track whilst a whole host of other things as it is a small racecourse and so only has 5 full-time employees. (Part-time Catering Manager and Clerk of the Course).
I visited Australia for a month from September to October in 2009 and ever since I've known in my heart I wanted to come back. I have a passion for horse racing and believe in it as a sport, a job and as a place for other people to have a great time and for businesses to benefit.
I am driven, ambitious, thoughtful, hard-working and more ready than ever to take the plunge and live half way round the world in the best country in the world, with the best racing in the world. I want to be a part of it and want to take my chances to become a success there.
