What does the Equus Connect website do?

 Job Advertising within the equine industry:

Equus Connect specialises in providing job advertising specifically for the local and international; Equine, Horse sport, Horse racing, Stud / Breeding farms, Vet work, Bloodstock sales, administration and Farming industries....every aspect of the equine industry is catered for. 

We are based in both the Northern & Southern Hemisphere and the site is run by people who are active within the industry.

Immigration, Work Permits & Visas:

Immigration, work permit or visa enquiries can be catered for at Equus Connect.....AUST & NZ only at this point in time.

Is Equus Connect a recruitment company?

No, Equus Connect is not a recruitment company. We give complete control to the 'Job Advertiser', allowing employers  to design & write their recruitment advertising campaign on their own terms 24hrs a day 7 days a week. 

Any job vacancy within the equine industry can be advertised on the Equus Connect website.

Every job application is sent to the 'Job Advertiser' from the 'Job Seeker' in an organised and orderly manner....Equus Connect does not interfere in any way! 

There are no delays when you publish your advertisement on Equus Connect. Once submitted, it will appear on the website immediately.

Who can advertise on Equus connect?

Employers and recruitment companies can advertise with Equus Connect.

Please Note: Recruitment companies must purchase one advertisement at a time. Bulk purchases of advertising credit are reserved for employers only.

What is the cost to advertise? 

Each credit is equal to one ad or one months advertising, all credits can be used at any time.
Each credit is valid to use for 12 months.
All prices are in Australian dollars ($AU)
All prices are inclusive of 10% GST or VAT

How to advertise a job opening:

• Register as a 'Job Advertiser' (If not registered already).
• Purchase advertising credit when required.
• Write your job description, including any specific skills required.
• Add images and / or a document.
• Publish your listing.
• There are no delays when publishing listings on Equus Connect. Once submitted, ads appear immediately.  

Your listing will appear on the home page as a featured listing until the next job ad is listed.

Please Note: Please advertise one position at a time within your listings. If you have more than one position available, they must be advertised in separate listings.  

Will Equus Connect help to write job listings?

 Yes, the customer service staff at Equus Connect will help when required.

We can:

• Write or help to write job listings.
• Provide technical advice when required.
• Handle the entire process if necessary, from registering your business to writing your listing.
• Provide advice in regard to what content will make a difference in securing the correct applications / people.

Can information from another document be used to write a job listing?

Information from other sources can be used within our job forms.

Simply copy and paste the details you require from other documents / sources onto our job forms as you you would when using a word document.

How many images can be attached to a job listing?

Up to 5 photos and / or a logo can be attached to all job listings.

We highly recommend using as many images as possible.

Can documents (Extended job description) be attached to a listing?

Yes, pre written or specialised documents can be attached to all job listings. 

I would like to keep the facility / business name confidential when advertising a position.

'Job Advertisers' can keep their facility or business confidential when advertising for staff.

• Write your job description/s detailing all of the important details about the position/s.
• In the phone No. field write the words 'Phone number withheld' 
• Your email will not be visible to applicants or people browsing the site as this field is not made public at any time.
• Any other field can be made confidential or the description can be generalised.

I only want locals applying for the position.

Listings can be designed to reflect the position being advertised.

The format of listings is up to the job advertiser.

If you require only locals for a given position? We have fields within our job forms to reflect this preference.

• Applicants must be located within a particular distance from the work place.
• I drivers licence is required.
• We do not have accommodation.
• Internationals will not be considered.
• Ect....

Can job listings be edited?

We allow editing of all job listings at any time throughout the life of the listing.

Please Note: The original position or listing title must not be edited at any time.

This is considered a new listing and will be taken down immediately by management.  

How do I renew an expired listing?

All listings are saved to 'Job Advertiser' memberships upon expiry.

• Simply log in and click on 'Renew past advertisements'.
• You'll be given a choice of every position listed by you or your business in the past.
• You must have advertising credit available or you will need to purchase credit to renew ads.
• The number of advertising credits available in your account can be found by looking at the bottom of your membership menu when logged in.
• Please check all of the details within your listing are correct before renewing.

Please Note: For this function to be available to you, do not delete a listing. Either ask our staff to remove the listing from the site or allow the listing to expire.

This saves time as there is no need to rewrite a listing/s when the position/s becomes available or needs to be re advertised  in the future. 

When a listing is renewed it will appear in the #1 position on the list until the next listing is submitted, providing added exposure.

Can I contact 'Job Seekers' with a profile on Equus Connect?

Any 'Job Advertiser' with a live listing on the Equus Connect website can contact 'Job Seekers'.

What should I do when I encounter problems or I require help?

If you encounter problems with the site or you just need some help, send us a short email by clicking on 'Help & Feedback'. Use the form provided to explain the situation. This will be emailed to our service staff. 

We will reply to most communication within 2hrs but we guarantee an answer within 24hrs.

Technical difficulties may take a little longer depending on the situation.

 How do I send an immigration, work permit or visa enquiry?

1. Click on 'Work permits & visas'
2. Fill in the enquiry form, providing as much relevant information as possible (The form will accept unlimited text)
3. Our immigration partners will reply to all enquiries within 24hrs, via email.
